About the Course

Do you want to feel confident riding our local green and blue trails? This clinic is focused on giving you the skills you need to go from feeling like an advanced beginner to being an intermediate rider. A rider who can confidently ride up and down most corners, manage rocks and roots on intermediate trails. You'll learn the skills to have you feeling balanced, in control and using the correct body position to be efficient and feel strong on your bike, both going up and going down. And you'll become friends with both your front and back brake, knowing when to use them and how to maintain speed control that gives you confidence in all terrain.

Picture this: You're flowing down a trail, and instead of hesitating at that rocky section or tight corner, you're attacking it with confidence. You'll learn how to read the trail, position your body, and use your bike's features to your advantage. And the best part? When you do encounter a hiccup, you'll have the knowledge to self-correct and keep the ride going.

Our PMBIA certified coaches are experts in identifying what you need to break through to the next level. They'll provide targeted instruction and real-time feedback, ensuring that you're not just learning, but mastering the skills you need.

So if you're ready to stop holding back and feeling confident on your bike, this program is your ticket to a more challenging and rewarding mountain biking experience.

We start at the Castlegar bike park for the first week. That's where our PMBIA certified coaches get to know what you're aiming for and how you ride. It's not just about teaching generic skills; it's about focusing on what you specifically need to get better.

Then, we head over to Merry Creek trails. Here, you'll practice what you've learned in real situations, building your confidence and skill where it counts. Our coaches are great at figuring out what you need to level up your riding. They give you focused tips and feedback right when you need it.

If you're keen to challenge yourself a bit more and enjoy your rides even more, our intermediate program in Castlegar is here for you. Come join us, and let's tackle those trails together, turning those tricky spots into parts of the ride you look forward to.
